Pacifica, CA

Incorporated in 1957 when 9 communties came together to become the city of Pacifica.

Don Gaspar de Portola along with his expedition of 63 men made the first recorded discory of San Francisco Bay in 1769. Portola's discovery was by land instead of by sea from what is now known as Sweeny Ridge which is in the eastern boundary of Pacifica
